Through ‘Giving Wings to My Dream’ program, HUMAN IN LOVE supports high school students in low income families living in Guro-gu, Geumchun-gu, and Gwanak-gu, Seoul. Since this year, we added three more high schools (Songgok, Myunmok, Haewon) from Jungrang-gu and one high school in Mokpo, Jeollanamdo.

On Monday, September 2nd, HUMAN IN LOVE visited three high schools in Junrang-gu. We asked for cooperation to support students. One-third of the students attending the high schools were from low-income families such as families receiving basic living security or single-parent families.

◎ Mr. Duk-Bong WANG, the Principal of Songgok High School said that except for relatively rich area like Gangnam, students in most of the school districts suffer from financial hardships.
◎ Mr. Moon-Soo LIM, the Principal of Myunmok High School said that students in low-income families have to work part-time to earn money which prevents them from concentrate on their academic lives. Most of the students don’t have a plan to attend college because they can’t receive financial support.
◎ Mr. Hae MIN, the Principal of Haewon High School said that he hopes the program will be able to help the students to have dreams for the future. He also mentioned that he hopes that one day, all students will be able to study without being worried about their financial situation.

HUMAN IN LOVE will support students who are suffering from financial hardships and help them to move forward and achieve their dreams.
