[Burned house of Ju-Young LEE]
On Friday, August 30th, HUMAN IN LOVE received an email from Ms. Joo-Young LEE who lives in Hoengsung, Gwangwon Province. The email was about a devastating situation in the region. The story was about what happened on Saturday, August 10th, around 2 p.m. lighting struck her house three to four times and within just 10 minutes her house was destroyed completely by fire. She lost everything she had on that day.
She said, “Fortunately, our family members didn’t get hurt but we have nothing left. All I have is this clothes that I am wearing. I feel helpless about my situation. No one around us is offering help at this point. Please help us out.” HUMAN IN LOVE sent our employee to console Ms. Lee immediately and looked for ways to help her.

On Monday, September 23rd, we were able to offer temporary housing for Ms. Lee and her family. HUMAN IN LOVE will continue to work for the victims of natural disaster and give them hope for recovery.
