The area devoured by typhoon ‘Haiyan’. It’s almost impossible to believe that only the might of wind was able to tear out the large trees scattered everywhere. This house has split into two struck by a large tree.

Typhoon ‘Haiyan’ has left people without homes, jobs, friends and family. It’s been at least 15 days since water and electricity has been disconnected.‘Help!! We Need Food & Milk for Babies’. Streets are saturated with signs eagerly asking for help.

The HUMAN IN LOVE Disaster Recovery Team restored and revitalized the residential areas and schools with the heaviest casualties and damage by the typhoon in the city of Ormoc.

The roof was swallowed by the typhoon and the school is covered by trees torn and snapped from the ground. The Disaster Recovery Team was able to remove the broken trunks and branches from roofs of buildings and schools with the use of special equipment.

The Superintendent of Education of the city of Ormoc presented the HUMAN IN LOVE Emergency Relief Team with a letter of appreciation for their valiant effort.

We may not have roofs or homes, but our hopes are still alive. To all the people of Ormoc, we hope that all your wounds and pain from the disastrous typhoon heal quickly.
