[Students, parents, volunteers participating at ’Let’s walk together’ event]
To celebrate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities which is April 20th, HUMAN IN LOVE hosted an event, “Let’s walk together!” on April 30th, for St. Peter’s School for students with intellectual disabilities. About 450 people including the students, guides, parents gathered at Chuncheon, Gangwon Province.
During the event, the students with disabilities walked with non-disabled people including their family members. The event aimed to form positive perception of disabled people and encourage the students to actively participate in the society.

The guides welcomed the students and their families at the entrance of trail course. The students walked under the nut trees while holding hands with their family members. The students’ pace may seem too slow for some people but we all had a great time communicating in their language.
