HUMAN IN LOVE (HIL) has gotten a perfect score in GSK 2.0, which is conducted by GuideStar Korea to evaluate the transparency, accountability, financial safety and other qualities of Korean non-profit corporations. Furthermore, HIL has received “Crown Certificate” which is awarded to the non-profit corporations that meet additional criteria as well as win a perfect score in GSK.

93 out 8,993 non-profit corporations in Korea got a perfect score in GSK 2.0, but only six organizations including HIL received “Crown Certificate”.

The evaluation was conducted on the non-profit corporations that have submitted closing documents to National Tax Service webpage (www.hometax.go.kr). This year, the number of evaluation items was increased from 19 to 24 with aims to enhance the reliability of non-profit organizations. Those which haven’t gone through external audit or which have discrepancy in donation amounts were excluded from evaluation.
GuideStar Korea has introduced seven indices (“Crown indices”) that are not identifiable just with official documents reported on National Tax Service. After evaluating organizations which got a perfect score in GSK 2.0 and submitted evidentiary materials, GiudeStar Korea awarded “Crown Certificate” to qualified candidates.
