Children’s book donation in Lao PDR

[ Children’s book Donation Ceremony took place at the National Library of Lao PDR. ]

From Monday, June 2nd to Wednesday, June 4th, HUMAN IN LOVE held ‘Children’s book Donation Ceremony’ at the National Library of Laos, Hadxayphong Elementary School, Pakuem Elementary School.

Donated books include children’s book translated in Laotian written by Jung-Jin LIM, an Executive Advisor of HUMAN IN LOVE Global Contents and other traditional Laotian fairy tale storybooks. To the National Library of Laos and 20 elementary schools in Vientiane, total of 4,000 books were donated.

At the ceremony, many library staffs including the director of the National Library of Lao PDR attended and expressed gratitude for book donation for children in Lao PDR.

At the book donation ceremony held in Hadxayphong Elementary School and Pakuem Elementary School, the Head of Regional Council for Education, principals, teachers and students of the school participated. Many students joined the ceremony despite the fact that it was held during the school vacation. Students were very excited to read their new children’s books.

HUMAN IN LOVE organized various events such as children’s book reading, storytelling, special lecture, singing contests for students. We had a great time together. HUMAN IN LOVE will continue to donate children’s books to countries in needs (written in their own language) to help children learn how to read, think and ultimately, dream for their future.
