Carries Out Scholarship Project to Help Victims of Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict

On Jan. 31, HUMAN IN LOVE carried out a scholarship ceremony in its Armenian branch office and provided scholarship and scholarship certificates to university students who were selected as HUMAN IN LOVE scholarship students.

The scholarship students were recommended by their universities and selected as they have been maintaining outstanding academic performance despite economic difficulties and who are from the victimized families who inhabit Nagorno-Karabakh and Tavush where the conflicts have been taking place. HUMAN IN LOVE has decided to provide their whole tuition fees until graduation, if the scholarship students maintain certain level of school records.

At the gathering of the scholarship students, HUMAN IN LOVE Chairman Young Hoo Kim said, “We know the suffering of the victims since Korea also went through the Korean War. Korea has achieved a remarkable growth from the ashes of war, thanks to the help provided by the international community and the people’s enthusiasm for education. Therefore, HUMAN IN LOVE would help the victims of the those conflicts that they might not give up their dreams nor be frustrated due to economic difficulties. We hope you become a man of ability who can contribute to the development of Armenia and furthermore, to drive peace in the global society.”

Nora Hayrumyan, one of the scholarship students, expressed her gratitude to HUMAN IN LOVE by saying, “I am majoring in violin at the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory. My dream is to go back to my hometown and teach violin to local children after graduation. I would like to cure the wounded hearts of the children who suffered from the conflict by teaching them music. Thank you very much HUMAN IN LOVE for selecting me as the scholarship student so that I can achieve my dream.”

Also, Benjanyan Rita who is studying medical science at the Yerevan State Medical University After Mkhitar Heratsi confidently said, “I will study hard to become a good doctor. If possible, I would like to visit Korea and learn advanced medical technologies.”

HUMAN IN LOVE will actively support the Armenian scholarship students to overcome the painful conflict and become a person of ability who can lead development of Armenia and world peace.
