HUMAN IN LOVE successfully completed the training program for the third “HUMAN IN LOVE Teenage Software Volunteers” from Feb. 18 to Apr. 15, 2017. The training program, which lasted for nine weeks, was held in Seoul (HUMAN IN LOVE training room) and Daegu Metropolitan City (Aviv Global Marketing conference room).

HUMAN IN LOVE software coding instructors and the first and second “HUMAN IN LOVE Teenage Software Volunteers” members participated in the program as main instructors and assistants to help the volunteers learn essential knowledge and skills for teaching “Scratch” programming to elementary and middle school students. ‘Aviv Global Marketing’ a domestic digital marketing agency, provided their conference room and laptops to the volunteers living in Daegu during the training program. Also, CEO Oh, Ho-yun and the staff of the agency taught Scratch programming to HUMAN IN LOVE volunteers in person.

On Apr. 15, the last day of the program, each volunteer received an assignment of turning in an individual project that utilizes what they have learned for the past nine weeks.

The volunteers successfully completed their individual assignment thanks to the instructors and assistants. Afterwards, they made a presentation about their own projects and made up for their shortcomings by questioning and answering each other.

”I was very surprised to see the enthusiasm of the volunteers during the nine weeks which is not a short time. The volunteers made me think about many things by showing how they can be different only by learning a bit about what they are interested in. It was me that learned much during the project.

A total of 57 volunteers of the “Third HUMAN IN LOVE Teenage Software Volunteers” will hold a ceremony in May to commemorate the beginning of their activity. Afterwards, they will teach Scratch programming at local child centers in Seoul and Daegu for about seven months from June to December.
