The Rwandan government is showing much interest and making efforts to encourage computer education, as can be seen in the fact that computer education has been one of the main stream of Rwanda’s education policy, and even a picture of learning computer is on Rwandan bills. However, most of the teenagers in Rwanda cannot even see computers in their houses nor schools, either.

If there is a computer room, there are no computers, or if there are computers, there are no teachers to teach how to use them. That is why it is not difficult to find schools that are not using their computer classrooms. This is a direct example that reflects the poor computer education of Rwanda.
Therefore, HUMAN IN LOVE has been carrying out computer education for the Rwandan scholarship students in their vacation period to teach them basic skills to use computers.

This time, students reviewed how to use WORD, POWER POINT and EXCEL programs which they learned in April. Furthermore, they learned how to utilize computer programs that will be useful when searching for a job or entering universities.
The scholarship students had a chance to check their email account and reply to the emails they received. They looked so happy when reading the emails that were sent during the last seven months.

Mr. BARIHENDA Jean De Dieu, a Rwandan government official who is in charge of education of Rweru sector, has been actively supporting the HUMAN IN LOVE Rwandan branch office. Without exception, he visited the computer class whenever he had time to encourage the students.

HUMAN IN LOVE scholarship students are great ones who show outstanding academic performance and have clear motivation for studying compared with other students in Rweru sector.

Like what Mr. BARIHENDA Jean De Dieu said, two of our scholarship students MUHOZA Adeliphine and NSHIMIYIMANA Nathan received the first grade in the national entrance exams and moved on to high school. Not only these two students but also other scholarship students are very enthusiastic in learning and show extraordinary academic performance.

HUMAN IN LOVE families! Thank you very much for giving the Rwandan scholarship students a precious opportunity of learning. We’d also make our utmost efforts in the field to support the students that they might grow with an upright character. Thank you once again!
