After Character Education Promotion Law has been passed last December, Character Education has become compulsory, attracting attention to Character Education. However, there were criticisms that existing Character Education is too short-lived or that it is not put into practice.

Human In love is providing children Character & Sharing program ‘Good 100Won Come together” – that can be continuously put into practice at home, and so that children can learn the value of proper conduct. Human In Love is also providing educational program aimed at parents about children’s Charter Education.

The first session was “One-Minute Scolding” aimed to increase self esteem in children.

Every parent’s wish is for their children to succeed and live happily, but realize that it does not always work that way. When our children breaks their promise, rebels, rights with their brothers and sisters, and does not perform well in exams, we try to come up with the best way to properly teach our children. We’ve had the experience of promising ourselves that my child will not walk down the wrong path – just may make life harder for the children.

“One-Minute Scolding” is a conscious developmental program in which the child realizes his/her own mistake, and realize the love of their parents through one minute scolding. Through this program it is hoped that the children will not be restricted by their mistake, but will realize the unlimited possibilities children have.

The April session was held at Baek San Elementary school and MyeongIll Elementary school.

“Everyone, are you truly happy right now?”
“….”

There were no parents who could confidently raise their hands. One of the director of Human In love, Soo Nam Huang, smiled and continued the lecture first explaining why we can raise our hands confidently.

“If the children are not happy with the education they received from us as we have learned from our parents, then the next generation will not be happy as well. Now it is our turn to change the education paradigm”

“When the child did wrong, whether it takes a while, look at them in the eyes while being close enough to hold your child’s hands”

Director Huang told different stories that he experienced with his child while he attempted to have eye-contact. Parents have also practice what they have learned through role-playing.

This method is the method that I have been using for 30 years while raising my child”. Now I am happy, my children are happier than any other children. What matters the most, my children are not restricted by their wrong-doings and move on after realizing their unlimited possibilities. The only way our children could spread their wing, is by educating our children the proper way.”

“One minute Scolding” is an conscious-evoking education method that anyone could practice. Human In Love wishes to launch more “One-Minute Scolding” Talk to provide baseline for parents to put to practice.
