[ With the Scholarship recipients at Mishan middle school, Heilong Jiang, China ]
On September 9th, HUMAN IN LOVE held a scholarship award ceremony at Mishan middle school, Heilong Jiang, China. Total number of recipients are 31 ethnic Korean students including 20 students of high school, 11 students of middle school.
The recipients were identified by the process which started in July. The process included recommendation of principals and various paper reviews. The students are ethnic Korean students with strong academic performances who need financial support.
HUMAN IN LOVE is planning to support the recipient until they graduate from school. Mishan was a place where Korean Independence Army was first organized and it served as a base for the army. Today, many ethnic Korean students living in the region feel very proud of their ancestors who fought for the independence of Korea. However, many of them are suffering from financial hardships to continue their education.
HUMAN IN LOVE supports students in the region to continue their education, teach them Korean, help them remember how great their ancestors were, and make them a responsible member of the community. Through these efforts, we want the students to contribute to world peace and stability. Please continue to send love and support for the scholarship recipients.
HUMAN IN LOVE will continue to support students who are suffering from poverty and natural disasters so that they can continue their education. We will help them to become economically independent and responsible members of the society.
