Philippines typhoon ‘Haiyan’ relief efforts (2)

HUMAN IN LOVE Disaster Recovery Team began recovery effort at the LINAO International High School and Central School located in the city of Ormoc.

Typhoon ‘Haiyan’ destroyed the roof and ceiling of classrooms. We are unsure when students can go back to their school at this point.

[Trees uprooted by typhoon ‘Haiyan’ ]

A large tree was uprooted and thrown onto the roof of school showing the power of ‘Haiyan.’ The uprooted tree was dangerous dangling at the top of the severely damaged roof. For the safety of people, the recovery team put the rope around the tree for removal.

HUMAN IN LOVE Disaster Recovery Team had power generator which allowed them to use equipment which required electricity freely. The teachers and residents of the region were very thankful for the recovery efforts.

The fallen tree over the building is now removed.
