The book, ‘It’s not your fault’, written by Mr. Jung-Wook KO, HUMAN IN LOVE Global Contents Expert Commissioner, will enhance the understanding of the disabled children. And, the children’s book, ‘Honeybee rescue team’, written by Mr. Man-Soo KANG, will teach Laotian children about the seriousness of environmental destruction and the importance of environment.

Children learn how to read, write, and think through books and use this knowledge to dream and plan for the future. But not all children are blessed to read books as much as they want.

Laos is one of the least developed countries in Southeast Asia. Many children are unable to complete primary education in Laos due to poverty. Illiteracy rate in Laos is whopping 21.5%. The schools in rural area are in worse condition and there is not enough books including textbooks for children.

To provide books to children in the least developed countries, HUMAN IN LOVE established ‘HUMAN IN LOVE Global Contents Expert Committee’ in July. The Committee consisted of popular Korean children’s book authors. Authors, translators and those who work for publishing industry joined and have been publishing and providing high quality books (translated version) to children in the least developed countries.

HUMAN IN LOVE will continue to provide children’s books to countries in needs, written in their own languages.
