Hi, this is Hasmik, Branch Director of HUMAN IN LOVE. I work here to support scholarship and capacity building programs for teenagers and young people who have difficulties in going to school due to disaster and poverty.

However, there are students who do not give up on their dreams in this harsh condition. They are the scholarship awardees of HUMNAN IN LOVE. They are not only enthusiastic about learning but perform so well at school. Aiming to help them achieve their dreams and contribute to their community, HUMAN IN LOVE has been providing scholarship for these brilliant students.
On June 28th 2017, scholarship students visited the Armenian branch before going back to their hometown to express their gratitude to HUMAN IN LOVE supporters. During their visit, we had a small chat about how their semester was, what progress they’ve made and about their childhood and family

Robert said he came to be even more motivated after receiving scholarship from HIL. He said the most difficult time for him was to work as a night guard at a factory while studying during the daytime. However, he is now pleased to be able to concentrate on his study only except when he work at a bakery as a part-timer. Robert’s dream is to be an engineer. Now that he receives scholarship from HIL, he said he wants to become an engineer even more.

Maryam, who is majoring in education, could have had a hard time watching her brothers cannot go to school because of her. Thanks to HIL scholarship, her parents could afford her brothers’ education. She said she is so happy to see her brothers can go to school and really appreciates HIL supporters. She is studying hard to be the best at school.
I was also so moved to see scholarship students study really hard with grateful hearts toward HIL supporters. Seeing them made me confident about my belief that HIL is contributing to leading the bright future for Armenia.
