‘HIL Youth Workshop’ was held at HUMAN IN LOVE headquarters from February 27 to February 28, on the topic of ‘About the United Nations(UN) and the Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs)’.

The workshop was prepared for youth (high school and university students living in South Korea) to promote awareness and understanding of the work of the UN and a set of SDGs. Moreover, the workshop allowed the Youth to think about the solutions to global issues such as poverty, inequality, climate change, and marine pollution.

In particular, HUMAN IN LOVE invited Mr. Joseph J. Lim, Partnership Officer of the World Federation of United Nations Associations(WFUNA), to the workshop as a lecturer. The WFUNA is a global nonprofit organization representing and coordinating the memberships of over 100 national United Nations Associations(UNAs) and their thousands of constituents. Also, the WFUNA works to strengthen and improve the activities of the United Nations.

”I’m honored to join the workshop as a lecturer. All participants’ response toward my lecture was good and I was really surprised at some participants who were absorbed in the lecture. In the future, HUMAN IN LOVE will host a variety of workshops and education programs for Youth at home and internationally, to improve awareness of the UN and the SDGs as well as to cultivate them as global citizens who will take initiative in order to solve the problems in a global village.
